My product melted, is it bad now?

Not at all. Because we use an all natural skincare formulation without synthetic stabilizers, some of our products, like a body butter or lip butter, are temperature sensitive. This is a sign of a truly natural product. If your product melts, simply place it in the refrigerator to solidify. For future personal care, we recommend storing it in a cooler space.

I have oily skin, will the oils in your products clog my pores?

No. We understand the concern for oily skin. All the natural oils and ingredients we use are non-comedogenic, meaning they are formulated so as not to cause clogged pores or contribute to acne. Our face products are designed to balance your skin and promote overall skin health, not cause breakouts.

I’m breaking out in pimples, should I stop using my facial oil?

No, please don't stop! Our facial oil is a wonderful skin treatment for aiding in the healing of breakouts and blemishes. It helps to support a healthy skin barrier. We recommend using it as a spot treatment in addition to your regular skincare routine to help your pimples heal faster.

Your products are supposed to balance my skin, but I feel like it’s making my skin too oily. Am I doing something wrong?

The product shouldn't make your skin feel oily, but rather help you achieve hydrated, glowing skin. If you feel it is, you are likely using a little too much. The goal of great face care is balance. Use trial and error with the amount of product, whether it's a serum or moisturizer, to find what gives you your preferred hydration and glow.

Why does my face exfoliator feel like it’s dried out?

Our face exfoliator should be mixed upon use for the first few times. Because it's a part of our handmade skincare line, the separation of natural oils from ingredients like green clay can occur. This is completely normal for a chemical free skincare product. If it has separated, simply use the provided spatula to mix the entire jar.

I have oily skin, do you think it’s ok for me to oil cleanse?

Yes, oil cleansing is a highly beneficial step in a skincare routine for all skin types, including oily skin. Our Goddess Glow oil cleanser is designed to dissolve excess oil, makeup, and impurities that can lead to clogged pores and acne. If you're still hesitant, you can use the cleanser and skip the final polish step.

Are your products safe to ingest?

While all our skin products are made from 100% organic and natural ingredients as part of our non toxic and clean beauty promise, they are formulated for topical use. So, while accidental consumption is not harmful, it is not recommended.

Is tingling or burning normal with the vitamin C powder?

When you mix the Vitamin C powder to create a fresh, potent brightening serum, a slight tingling is normal and indicates the ingredient is active. It's a sign it's working to improve dull skin! However, a burning sensation is an indication that you have used too much powder.

What’s the shelf life on your beauty products?

For optimal freshness and efficacy, all of our beauty products, from our cleanser and toner to our eye cream, are best used within 24 months of opening.

Are your products safe to be used during pregnancy?

Our commitment to holistic skincare includes transparency. It is generally recommended to be cautious with certain essential oils like Carrot Seed Oil (often found in anti aging products) and Sage Essential Oil during pregnancy. Please consult your physician before using any new skin care products.

What’s your return policy?

We do not accept returns or exchanges at this time. Please note, when making your purchase from our collection of cosmetics and skincare, you agree to our return policy.

What if my package gets lost in the mail?

We are not responsible for your package once it leaves our hands. You will be given tracking information for your package. If it is lost in the mail, it is up to the USPS to settle the issue with you. We will do what we possibly can on our end, but we are not required to send another package free of charge. By placing an order online, you are agreeing to this shipping policy.

How long will it take to ship my product?

As a maker of artisan skincare, we create our products in small batches to ensure freshness and quality. This small batch skincare approach means orders can take up to 7 to 12 business days to deliver. We appreciate your patience and your support for our small business.

Is your shipping packaging Eco-Friendly?

Yes, our commitment to sustainable skincare and green beauty extends to our packaging. Goddess Glow is proud to be an eco friendly skincare brand, and we try to use recyclable materials and repurposed boxes whenever possible.

Are all your ingredients certified organic?

Our goal is to be a leader in organic skincare. All of our ingredients listed with an asterisk (*) on our website are certified organic. We are working on changing all of our product labels to reflect this, while being mindful of waste as part of our conscious beauty mission.
